The 2026 Rome production

The production is conducted by Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and directed by Claus Guth, with sets and costumes by Christian Schmidt, lighting by Olaf Winter and video by Andi A. Müller. The Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma will perform Mozart’s four-act opera buffa.

The announced cast includes Erwin Schrott and Alessio Arduini as Figaro, Martina Russomanno and Benedetta Torre as Susanna, Roberta Mantegna and Federica Guida as the Countess, and Germán Olvera and Vito Priante as Count Almaviva. Principal singers vary according to the selected performance date.
