Opened on 8 September 2011 on the site of the demolished Stadio delle Alpi, the Allianz Stadium is the home of Juventus and was the first major stadium in Italy built and owned outright by its club. It holds 41,507 spectators, including some 4,000 hospitality seats and 62 sky boxes, and was designed with the stands set close to the pitch — a deliberate contrast with the distant terraces of its predecessor. The Allianz name dates from a naming agreement announced in 2017.

Stands and sectors

The bowl divides into four sections: the Curva Sud and Curva Nord behind the goals — the Curva Sud housing the most vocal home support — and two side stands, the Tribuna Est, the largest, two-tiered section, and the Tribuna Ovest, the main stand containing the dugouts, dressing rooms and players' tunnel. Premium and hospitality areas run along both tribunes.

Getting there

The stadium sits in north-west Turin on Corso Gaetano Scirea. From the city centre, bus 72 runs to the Stadio Nord stop beside the ground, and lines 62 and 75 stop at Altessano within walking distance. On match days allow extra time, as roads around the stadium are restricted; parking areas surround the complex.
