Open since 19 September 1926, San Siro is the largest stadium in Italy with a capacity of 75,817 and the shared home of AC Milan and Inter. Its three-tier silhouette and helical access ramps — added for the 1990 World Cup — are among the most recognisable in world football. The stadium will host the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics, after which Milan will progressively transition to a new ground.
Beyond Serie A and the Madonnina derby, San Siro is Italy's flagship stadium-concert venue. The 2026 summer brings Iron Maiden, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd, alongside Italian icons such as Eros Ramazzotti.
Metro M5 (purple) drops you next to the stadium at San Siro Stadio; tram 16 and bus lines 49, 64, 78 and 80 also serve the area. Demand is huge — book early.
