AS Roma play their home matches at the Stadio Olimpico, the centrepiece of the Foro Italico complex on the north bank of the Tiber. It is the largest stadium in Rome and one of the great arenas of European football, shared with Lazio and used for the Italian national team and cup finals.
The Curva Sud is the heart of Roma support: on a Serie A matchday the singing starts long before kick-off and the wall of red and yellow behind the goal is one of the most recognisable sights in Italian football.
Getting there: tram 2 from Piazzale Flaminio to Piazza Mancini, or metro line A to Ottaviano and a walk across the river. Match traffic is heavy, so allow extra time.
