Il Volo Rome Tickets 2026 – Christmas Nights

Il Volo return to Rome on Thursday, 17 December 2026 at 9:00 PM for a special Christmas Nights concert at the Palazzo dello Sport. The December arena tour gives Piero Barone, Gianluca Ginoble and Ignazio Boschetto a seasonal setting for their signature blend of pop, classical crossover and Italian song, combining Christmas repertoire with established favourites from their career. The Rome performance is the third of five Christmas Nights dates across Italy, following Milan and Florence before the tour continues to Turin and Bologna. Christmas Nights in Rome

The December concerts are closely connected with Our Christmas, Il Volo's new festive album, scheduled for release on 6 November 2026. Recorded with a large orchestra, the project puts the trio's three voices at the centre of orchestral arrangements created specifically around Christmas music.

The album includes familiar seasonal pieces such as “White Christmas,” “Amazing Grace,” “Adeste Fideles,” “Feliz Navidad,” “O Holy Night” and “It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas.” It also features Schubert's and Gounod's settings of “Ave Maria,” giving the record a strong classical dimension alongside its more familiar Christmas standards.

Christmas Nights is designed to bring songs from the new album into Il Volo's arena show while also retaining some of the best-known material from their wider repertoire. The exact Rome setlist has not been confirmed, so the final selection may vary.

A December stop on Il Volo's 2026–2027 tour

The Palazzo dello Sport date comes after an extensive period of international touring for Il Volo. Their World Tour 2026–2027 has included performances across Latin America, the United States and Europe, with the Italian arena concerts closing out their 2026 live schedule.

For the Rome audience, Christmas Nights offers a different format from the trio's regular tour dates. Rather than presenting only the standard concert repertoire, the December production places the newly recorded festive material alongside the songs that have become central to Il Volo's live performances.

The result should particularly appeal to listeners who enjoy the contrast at the heart of the trio's concerts: contemporary Italian songs, international standards and operatic material performed by three distinctive voices.

Il Volo at Palazzo dello Sport

The concert takes place at Palazzo dello Sport in Rome's EUR district, one of the capital's landmark indoor arenas. The building was designed by Marcello Piacentini with structural engineering by Pier Luigi Nervi for the 1960 Rome Olympics, and its distinctive circular hall sits beneath a large reinforced-concrete dome.

Its history as both a major sporting venue and concert arena makes it a natural setting for Il Volo's large-scale production. The venue is located at Piazzale Pier Luigi Nervi and can be reached from central Rome via Metro Line B, with EUR Palasport station a short walk from the arena.

The 17 December 2026 Rome performance begins at 9:00 PM.
